Speaking and Teaching

Born in eastern Pennsylvania where I live with my wife and three children, I grew up in southern Taiwan speaking two dialects of Chinese. I’m an educator who loves to encourage growth and conversation on a wide range of topics. I also blog with some others at Jesus and the Ancient Paths.

Greetings. I’m Jesse Hake. I enjoy sharing as well as leading conversation and reflection with a wide variety of age groups and in diverse settings.

I have experience as a college adjunct professor, middle and high school teacher, Sunday school instructor, K-12 school principal, and classical curriculum developer. I am a Christian in the Eastern Orthodox tradition who shares from my own place and beliefs, yet I have experience with many different cultures and am glad to serve the needs of many communities.

If any of these areas of speaking or retreat leadership could help you or your organization, please contact me for more information. With my family and professional commitments, I will only consider a limited number of evening and weekend engagements (outside of Sunday mornings).
